Lemieux Scores Decision Win Over Achour
Though he missed weight for the bout, David Lemieux successfully returned to the ring with a unanimous decision victory over Karim Achour.
The event was a one-sided affair, with Lemieux knocking Achour down in the final round, though Achour managed to get to the final bell. The judges all scored the bout in Lemieux’s favor, 119-108, 120-107 and 119-107.

Lemieux appeared to have suffered an injury to his left arm during the final round while trying to finish Achour.
This victory gives Lemieux a bounce back from a failed challenge of WBO Middleweight Champion Billy Joe Saunders.
Two of Lemieux’s last four bouts have come above the 160-pound mark and combined with his 162-pound weigh-in for this bout, Lemieux and his team say a move up to 168 may happen next.
