McCann Vs. Evans-Smith Targeted For UFC London

An important flyweight bout has reportedly been booked for UFC London in March. Molly McCann will be looking for her fourth win in a row when she challenges Ashlie Evans-Smith. Jim Edwards reported the news on Twitter earlier today.

The surging McCann (10-2) is coming off of an unanimous decision win against Diana Belbita back in October at UFC Boston. It was her third win in a row via decision. This will be “Meatball” Molly’s third fight in London while with the UFC. The first bout was a submission-loss to Gillian Robertson in her debut fight in 2018. She rebound the next fight with a win over Priscila Cachoeira.

Evans-Smith (6-4) last fought in February, losing to Andrea Lee via unanimous decision. She is 1-3 in her last four fights, beating Bec Rawlings via unanimous decision at UFC 223.

A main event for the card in March has not been announced yet.
