McGregor Earning $3 Million for UFC 246

Conor McGregor is the standout star of the UFC 246 card, and that’s reflective in his pay grade compared to everyone else’s.

McGregor will make a guaranteed $3 million for his main event bout with Donald “Cowboy” Cerrone, per a release from the Nevada State Athletic Commission.

The $3 million is the same salary McGregor earned for his UFC 229 showdown with Khabib Nurmagomedov.

The NSAC’s reported salary figures never include items like sponsorships, post-fight locker room bonuses and pay-per-view revenue. McGregor’s earnings are likely to be even higher once the pay-per-view wraps up; he previously stated he expects to earn $80 million from this fight.

Cerrone, meanwhile, is guaranteed $200,000 for making it to the cage, and he will earn another $200,000 if he’s able to pull off the victory.

Other noted figures outside the main event include co-headliner and former bantamweight champ Holly Holm, who earns $150,000 plus a $50,000 win bonus, and former lightweight champ Anthony Pettis, who earns $155,000 to show plus another $155,000 if he wins.
