Nate Diaz Hints To Octagon Return in December

The Diaz brothers, Nick and Nate, are one of the most loved athletes in the MMA circuit. Their flamboyant gameplay and insane trash talking both inside and outside the fight cage attract a huge audience.

And now after Nick made his comeback, Nate took to Twitter and teased fans for his turn, making it look like the return of Nathan Donald Diaz very imminent in the coming months.

Nate last featured at UFC 263 in June against the No. 3 ranked welterweight Leon Edwards. Diaz lost the fight via unanimous decision after the two fighters went through a full five minutes five rounds quota.

In the post-fight interview, a blooded Diaz clearly depicted his intentions to return to the octagon at the end of the year.

Previously, Diaz has shown desire to fight the former interim lightweight champion Dustin Poirier and is still willing to do so. But Poirier is currently on a hunt for the lightweight title; there is a possibility that the Lafayette native will face Charles Oliveira for the gold at UFC 269 card on December 11.

Another fighter that has made significant strides in recent years is Vicente Luque. And he could be the possible candidate for Diaz’s return in December.

Tony Ferguson is another name that keeps on popping in the fans’ minds and many of them are rooting for a matchup between Diaz and Ferguson. But it’s up to the UFC and President Dana White.

The elder sibling, Nick, made his return to the octagon after six and half years this past week at UFC 266 where he went to the war against former UFC Welterweight champion Robbie Lawler. Diaz eventually suffered a third-round TKO loss. The younger sibling, Nate, attended the event and was proud of the performance put up by his brother.
