PBC To Postpone All Events Through May

Looking to get ahead of the virus and comply with safety protocols, Premier Boxing Champions has announced it has postponed all events for the month of May. This is due to the coronavirus outbreak.

“We will reschedule the postponed events at a later date once it becomes safe to do so,” said Tom Brown, President of TGB Promotions. “Now is the time for everyone to do everything they can to stop the spread of the pandemic and take care of your loved ones and your neighbors.”

All ticket orders will be refunded from its original point of purchase. One of the fights that may be affected as a result of this is WBC Junior-Welterweight Champion Jose Ramirez v. Viktor Postol on May 9 inside the Save Mart Center in Fresno, California. The bout was going to take place on February 1, but was moved as a result of the coronavirus.

This news comes after all PBC-related events for March and April were postponed. A number of combat sports have been postponing events, but PBC might be the first to reach May dates to cut events off.
