Update Regarding June 23 Top Rank Card
A fight featuring a top prospect will no longer be taking place on tonight’s (June 23) Top Rank card. Joseph Adorno had to be removed from the card, forcing his fight with Alexis del Bosque to be scrapped. The event will go on with four fights.
During weigh-ins yesterday, Adorno (14-0-1) came in over the required lightweight limit, coming in at 136. Top Rank recently stated that Adorno is off the undercard due to suspected dehydration.
PROGRAMMING NOTE: Tonight’s undercard fight between Joseph Adorno and Alexis del Bosque is off due to suspected dehydration of Adorno.
The full four-fight #MoloneyFranco event will air on ESPN, beginning at 8pm ET / 5pm PT.

Adorno last fought to a split decision draw against Hector Garcia back in January. He had a productive 2019, going 3-0 with two wins via TKO and KO. Overall, “Blessed Hands” has 12 wins via some form of knockout. Bosque (17-5) was on a four-fight win streak and 6-1 in his last seven fights.
It is unknown if or when a fight between the two will be rebooked.
This fight is another that had to be scrapped for Top Rank, but not due to the coronavirus. Mikaela Mayer and Chris Zavala tested positive, as did Mikkel LesPierre’s trainer, resulting in his bout with Jose Pedraza to be scrapped the day of the fight. Earlier today, Jamel Herring tested positive for the virus, forcing him out of his planned July 2 bout.
The main event of the Top Rank card will be Andrew Moloney defending the WBA Super-Flyweight Title against Joshua Franco. It will be the first major title defended on Top Rank programming since the promotion returned to action. The main card will go live at 8 p.m. ET on ESPN.
