Amir Khan Has 3 Weeks To Decide On Kell Brook Rematch
Amir Khan has been given three weeks to decide if he wants to share the ring with Kell Brook again.
Though, it seems highly unlikely that “King Khan” will go for a second contest as he was completely outboxed by his Brit colleague last week.
Boxxer CEO Ben-Shalom also considers the match-up a bad option for Khan. Even Khan has kept his silence on the matter.
The 35-year-old Khan had no foot movement during most of the fight. According to Shalom, many people in Khan’s circle believe that he took the fight quite casually.
The CEO said,“We have heard murmurs from his camp that he was jet-lagged and didn’t take Kell too seriously.”
Khan lost his speed and movement during the competition. Critics are comparing this fight with another one of Brook’s fights with Gennadiy Golovkin, six years back.
In that fight “Special K” was also the same stationary target.
Unless Khan is angry about the fight or he wants money he won’t opt for the rematch with Brook. If he goes for the sensible option and avoids the fight then Brook will have these four choices for his next fight:
-Conor Benn
-Chris Eubank Jr
-Keith Thurman
-Danny Garcia
