Eubanks-Moras Reportedly Set For May 13 UFC Card

A fight meant for the original UFC 249 is back on. Sources have told The Sports Daily that Sijara Eubanks and Sarah Moras will battle at the unnamed May 13 UFC event.

Eubanks (4-4) is on a two-fight losing streak. After ending 2018 with a win over Roxanne Modafferi at UFC 230, Eubanks lost to Aspen Ladd last May via unanimous decision. Her last fight was in September, also losing to Bethe Correia via unanimous decision.

Moras (6-5) last fought at UFC 242 in September, beating Liana Jojua via TKO. It was the first time that Moras missed weight for a fight. Before the win, she was on a three-fight losing streak dating back to February 2018. In seven fights with the UFC, the 31-year-old is 3-4.

Both were scheduled to fight at UFC 249 when it was back in Brooklyn. Due to the coronavirus, the fight was then added onto the card meant to take place inside Tachi Palace, a Native American casino in Lemoore, California. That event was nixed, resulting in this new date for the bout.

All fights will be taking place inside the VyStar Veterans Memorial Arena in Jacksonville, Florida. The event will be right after UFC 249 on May 9.
