Rampage Jackson Will Box Rashad Evans

Rampage Jackson has announced his boxing fight with UFC Hall of Famer Rashad Evans, subject to a date being announced.

The duo have plenty of history between them. Their rivalry began as competing coaches on the TUF 10 series. They eventually faced off at UFC 114 in 2010. Evans won the fight via a unanimous decision. A rematch did not happen. Evans ended his UFC career on a poor run of form. He suffered five losses on the bounce. His last appearance was a defeat to Anthony Smith at UFC 225 in 2018. Meanwhile, Jackson suffered three losses in his six fights after the Evans defeat. He retired after beating Fabio Maldonado at UFC 186 in 2015.  Jackson is 46, while Evans is 45, as the pair will rekindle their rivalry.

“IT’S ON! Y’all thought it was over? Nah. Time to settle this once and for all! Rashad “Suga” Evans got me last time, but that was then—this is NOW.  Albuquerque, NM | 2025 (TBA). This ain’t just a fight; it’s a reckoning. Let’s see if Suga can handle Rampage 2.0! Stay tuned,” Jackson said
