The Dricus du Plessis vs. Sean Strickland rematch will take place at UFC 312 on February 8 at Qudos Bank Arena in Sydney, Australia.
The pair will run things back in the main event following their first fight at UFC 297. Du Plessis won a controversial split decision, ending Sean’s reign as UFC Middleweight Champion after he picked up the belt with a win against Israel Adesanya. Du Plessis defended it successfully with an upset win against Adesanya at UFC 305 in his last fight. Meanwhile, Strickland bounced back from the Du Plessis loss with a win over Paulo Costa at UFC 302.
In chief support, Zhang Weili defends her UFC Strawweight Title against Tatiana Suarez. This will be Zhang’s first fight since beating Yan Xiaonan at UFC 300. This is her second defense of the belt as she enters the fight on a four-fight win streak. Suarez is undefeated in ten fights. However, she has not had a fight since beating Jessica Andrade in August 2023.
