Jake Paul Is Set To Box Mike Perry

Jake Paul and Mike Perry will reportedly box on July 20, subject to an official announcement.

Details of the weight class and number of rounds have also not been announced as of yet. The July 20 date was initially set for Paul to fight Mike Tyson. However, Tyson withdrew after suffering from an inflamed ulcer. The fight has been rescheduled for November 15, with Paul now looking to remain active. Jake has three wins on the bounce since losing to Tommy Fury. His last two bouts were first-round KO wins over Andre August and Ryan Bourland. The last MMA fighter he boxed was Nate Diaz, as he won a unanimous decision.

Perry would have his second boxing fight since his 2015 debut against Kenneth McNeil where he was knocked out. Perry is now a BKFC fighter after leaving the UFC in 2021. He ended his UFC career in a poor run of form, losing four out of his last five fights. However, his BKFC career has been impressive. He is undefeated with a 5-0 record. Perry reportedly turned down a Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. boxing fight on the Paul-Tyson card, saying the purse was too low.
