Conor McGregor Films Commercial Just 8 Days After Surgery

Conor McGregor (22-7) isn’t letting major knee surgery slow down his business interests. Just eight days after undergoing surgery to repair ACL and meniscus damage suffered at UFC 329, “The Notorious” was back on set in California filming a commercial for his MAC Energy drink.

McGregor appeared alongside fitness influencer Ashton Hall on a military-inspired set, wearing tactical gear and handling a machine gun as part of the shoot.

“8 days post surgery. Doctor said rest. I said load the belt. This is MAC ENERGY.”

McGregor suffered the knee injury during his comeback loss to Max Holloway at UFC 329. The bout ended just 69 seconds into the first round after McGregor was unable to continue.

The former two-division champion is expected to be sidelined for roughly a year before a potential return to the Octagon. In the meantime, he continues to promote his business ventures while beginning his rehabilitation.
