Former four-division undisputed champion Terence Crawford visited Ukraine this week to extend support to their boxing community, as well as share his love for American Pitbulls with President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
Rumors of a comeback to boxing for Crawford surfaced when he was spotted in the gym putting in work with his former coach, Brian ‘BoMac’ McIntyre, and undefeated teammate Lester Martinez. But the excitement was stopped in its tracks when McIntyre clarified for the media that ‘Bud’ was just having fun and ‘enjoying the club environment’.
Crawford was most recently in the ring when he became undisputed at middleweight in September 2025 with his victory over Canelo Álvarez. He retired with a perfect record of 42-0 and is the only male boxer to become an undisputed champion in four divisions.
Video footage of the meeting between Zelenskyy and Crawford, a public supporter of Ukraine in their war with Russia, showed an interaction in which the boxer handed the President a puppy, followed by a brief photoshoot.
