Saturday night during the UFC 326 PPV broadcast, the promotion finally unveiled the established bouts for their monumental event at the White House this June.
Many noted the fact that neither Conor McGregor nor Jon Jones appeared on the card listing. Earlier in the day, UFC CEO Dana White stated that the card suffered a last-minute cancellation, and many are now speculating that either McGregor or Jones had something to do with it.
Headlining the event, which is now entitled ‘UFC Freedom 250’, will be the highly anticipated lightweight title fight between the returning champion Ilia Topuria and interim belt holder Justin Gaethje. Topuria has now been away from the Octagon since his first-round victory over Charles Oliveira in June 2025, as he has been dealing with personal issues. Meanwhile, Gaethje is fresh off his unanimous decision victory over Paddy Pimblett on January 24 to earn the interim title.
The co-main event will feature Alex Pereira, who will be moving up in weight after vacating his light-heavyweight title, to face Ciryl Gane for the interim heavyweight championship. After holding titles at both middleweight and light heavyweight, Pereira is now putting himself in a prime position to become the first ever three-division UFC champion.

Preceding the co-main event, former bantamweight champion Sean O’Malley, who’s currently ranked number-3 in the 135-pound division, will face number-6 ranked Aiemann Zahabi. Along with Gaethje, O’Malley has always been a fan favorite in America, so it is not a tremendous shock to see his name on the card, but the crowd-pleasing striker will have his work cut out for him when he faces the well-roundedness of Aiemann Zahabi, who currently finds himself on a seven-fight win streak following his victory over Marlon Vera last October.
Filling out the bottom half of the card is a lightweight bout between Michael Chandler (who was originally hoping to face Conor McGregor on the card) and Mauricio Ruffy, Bo Nickal against Kyle Daukaus at 185-pounds, and Diego Lopes facing Steve Garcia at featherweight.

‘UFC Freedom 250’ (aka UFC White House) will go down on June 14th live from the White House’s South Lawn. To add to the monumental occasion, the weigh-ins are expected to take place at the Lincoln Memorial, and fighters will potentially be making their Octagon walks starting from the Oval Office.
