Jake Paul (12-2) has cast doubt over his boxing future, revealing that a broken jaw sustained during his KO loss to Anthony Joshua (29-4) in December 2025 could end his career in the ring.
Paul underwent surgery following the defeat — his most significant step up in competition to date — and has been recovering since. Although Jake has said that his jaw is healing, Paul confirmed his return to boxing is not guaranteed, with his doctor’s assessment set to determine what comes next.
“Most defintely. I think it depends on how the bone heals, and then also, there is also a tooth missing here, I’m pretty sure I will have to get an implanted tooth of some sort. We just have to see. Just figure out the smartest thing for me,” Paul said
Paul has undergone surgery on two occasions, with his team confirming that his intention is to return to cruiserweight following the Joshua defeat. While his next opponent is unclear, Paul has been consistent on his belief that he can win a world title.
