Pimblett Calls For Fight Vs. Topuria Or Tsarukyan

Paddy “The Baddy” Pimblett is ready for his next Octagon appearance. Fresh off a statement 52-second submission victory over Benoit Saint Denis (17-4), the Liverpool star made it clear that while he respects veterans like Max Holloway and Charles Oliveira, he would much rather fight long-time rivals Ilia Topuria and Arman Tsarukyan.

Pimblett didn’t hold back when discussing his disdain for both lightweights. While acknowledging Topuria’s skill, Pimblett attributed their ongoing feud to personal dislike, while taking a shot at Tsarukyan’s wealthy upbringing.

“Don’t get me wrong, I respect Ilia, but we’ve had beef for years. I think he’s a little helmet, so I’d love to fight him and give him [a bad time]. Arman Tsarukyan, I’ve got no respect for at all. He’s just a rich kid whose daddy’s a millionaire… He’s sitting there eating $2,000 caviar for breakfast.”

Despite Pimblett’s interest, neither fight is immediately available. Topuria remains sidelined following his loss to Justin Gaethje, while Tsarukyan is booked to face Mauricio Ruffy at UFC 331 on September 19.
