Benavidez Vs. Andrade Final Press Conference

David Benavidez and Demetrius Andrade held their final pre-fight presser ahead of their 168-lb fight on November 25th, 2023.

The event will mark Showtime’s final boxing PPV after the network confirmed that it would no longer broadcast the sport beginning in 2024, and they are going out with a strong event. The headliner has plenty on the line as the unbeaten former two-time super middleweight champion Benavidez and the undefeated two-division champ Andrade are battling to become the mandatory challenger for Canelo Alvarez’s undisputed super middleweight title.

In the co-main event, the 32-0 Jermall Charlo returns to action for the first time in two years after being sidelined due to mental health issues to face David’s older brother, Jose Benavidez Jr. However, Charlo’s WBC middleweight title will not be on the line in the ten-round bout. A win for Charlo sets up a potential fight against Caleb Plant  while Benavidez Jr. is aiming to get back on track after losing two of his last four fights against Terence Crawford and Danny Garcia, respectively.
