CHECK OUT: What Is Conor McGregor Up To?

Recently, it has been pretty quiet from the camp of Conor McGregor. Minus the occasional tweet, the “Notorious” one has not given an update on his future after calling for his MMA retirement not that long ago. Now, he appears to ready to involve himself in some form of competition.

McGregor (22-4) posted a photo on social media of him looking in fight shape. With the caption “Big poppa pump action”, McGregor’s post has over 1.3 million likes. A former UFC Lightweight and Featherweight Champion, McGregor has teased fighting at welterweight. Coach John Kavanagh went a step further and asked if he was going to be fighting at middleweight next.

“Skip 170 straight to 185?”

After UFC 250, in which Amanda Nunes beat Felicia Spencer, McGregor announced his retirement on social media. He ended up stating that the sport does not excite him anymore following matchups being delayed. This comes after teasing a bout with Anderson Silva and calling out Justin Gaethje.

Could McGregor end up returning to boxing? In another video, McGregor posted him sparring with a punching bag. That post has over 3.9 million plays.

McGregor has teased returning to boxing before. He last fought in a boxing ring in 2017, losing to Floyd Mayweather after ten rounds. As a result of the bout, McGregor earned a huge payday and recognition across the world.

As of now, UFC President Dana White said that he hasn’t spoken to McGregor in weeks, and there is no word of a future bout for McGregor, boxing or MMA.
