Luke Rockhold has challenged Jake Paul to a fight as he reacted to his Mike Perry win.
The Problem Child dropped Perry three times to win a sixth-round TKO. Paul remains undefeated against MMA fighters, having previously beaten Nate Diaz, Anderson Silva, Ben Askren and Tyron Woodley. In his post-fight comments, Paul said he would fight Mike Tyson on November 15. Meanwhile, he FaceTimed UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Alex Pereira for a boxing fight.
Rockhold had plenty to say about Paul’s victory. The former UFC Middleweight Champion has also fought in BKFC after his UFC departure. His sole fight came against Perry, and he was knocked out. His last fight was a win over Joe Schilling at Karate Combat 45 in Dubai this year. Rockhold criticized Paul’s decisions to fight with a superior weight advantage and against out-of-prime fighters. He urged Paul to take up the challenge by facing him.
“You should fight someone your own size for once, Jake. Anywhere, anytime. I lost 20lbs to fight Mike in his own game. You put on 40lbs to fight him in your world. Send the contract. Man up and fight someone your own weight, that’s not a senior citizen. I’ll put an end to your [rubbish],” Rockhold said
