Following an impressive performance on Saturday against Leon Shahbazyan inside the Meta APEX, Niko Price definitively announced his retirement after ten years with the UFC.
Through his time in the UFC, Price is well remembered for strong first-round finishes such as his 2017 knockout of Alan Jouban, his 2019 knockout of Tim Means, and his viral upkick knockout victory over James Vick later that year. Now, Price has added another first-round finish to his resume to end his UFC career on a high note.
Right from the start of the fight, Price seemed to be on a mission to end the evening early, or at least go out on his shield while putting on a show for the fans. Luckily for ‘The Hybrid’, he found a solid opening and caught his opponent off guard with the extreme pace early in the fight, and was able to finish things with powerful punches from the top position.
