Conor McGregor’s Latest Business Venture
Conor McGregor (22-6) announced his entry into the $90 billion energy drink market with the launch of ‘MAC Energy.’
McGregor has a track record in the beverage industry, most notably with the sale of his majority stake in Proper No. Twelve for a reported $600 million. Conor is also the owner of ‘Forge Irish Stout’, which currently sponsors BKFC. McGregor is positioning this brand as an alternative to the standard “sugar and B-vitamins” brands in favor of three ingredients:
-
200mg Natural Caffeine
-
2,000mg to 5,000mg BHB Ketones: Exogenous ketones (goBHB) act as an alternative fuel source to carbohydrates.
-
250mg Cognizin® Citicoline: Clinical studies suggest Citicoline supports mental energy, focus, and brain health.
MAC Energy’s release is perfectly timed to coincide with International Fight Week and McGregor’s rumored UFC return in July. The initial rollout will feature six zero-sugar flavors:
-
Proper Punch
-
Macberry Lemonade
-
Orange Creamsicle
-
Forbidden Green Apple
-
Honey Cream Soda
-
Blackbeary Lychee
